Wolfsburg Castle "Von der Schulenburg", VW arena for football fans, the Planetarium, The Phaenon of Zaha Hadid and much more is worth a visit.
You should not miss the modern art museum containing The Phaenon of Zaha Hadid lounge bar, the car museum and the Autostadt, Wolfsburg town centre with the Alvar Aalto Culture House and Milk Bar, the old districts of Fallersleben (birthplace of the poet Hoffmann von Fallersleben, writer of the German National anthem) and Vorsfelde with the carefully restored arts and crafts houses.
In the immediate area is the windmill museum at Gifhorn.
In 2001 a new water-park opened in Wolfsburg, offering various swimming and sauna facilities.
